You can to customize the scheduler so that the program
would automatically make the backup from the MySQL databases
daily, weekly, monthly, any special date or time interval.

works as a stand-alone utility, and does not require
any additional software. It's not necessary to have
MySQL installed on your local computer to perform backups
or restores.

runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista

has saved me MANY TIMES from data-loss nightmares. I
had a MySQL server die on me last week but since I back
up the entire server every night to my local PC using
Auto Backup for MySQL, I just hit restore on a fresh
server and all my sites were back up within minutes!
Also it helps me sleep at night knowing the thousands
of orders and customer accounts with years of financial
information are safely backed up without me having to
allocate a huge chunk of my IT budget to co-location
servers, expensive hot-backup tools etc.
